Creative competitions

Requirements and schedules for entrants to majors in Music, Fine Arts, and Choreography.

Admissions relying on creative competitions follow KhNPU «Rules of admission for obtaining higher education in 2026». Annex 6 to those Rules specifies majors, scoring structure, and coefficients. Entrance programme content, consultations, and published creative-competition calendars are communicated each cycle by the Admissions committee (contacts under University → Contacts; key dates also appear among Admissions announcements on this site).

Music arts (music education)

Creative competition — audition

  • — Prepare vocal‑choral or instrumental repertoire stipulated by faculty requirements and Annex 6.
  • — File EDEBO application at https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua and deliver documents to Admissions by Rules deadlines.
  • — Attend consultations and perform at the creative session using the published programme.

Dates: July–August 2026; the exact timetable is issued with Admissions committee notices during the enrolment campaign.

Fine arts

Creative competition — practical tasks and portfolio review

  • — Complete studio assignments (composition, drawing, etc.) defined by the entrance syllabus.
  • — Submit portfolio and materials in the format requested by the selection committee.
  • — Participate in oral discussion or defence per admissions regulations.

Dates: July–August 2026; exact days announced on the admissions page during the campaign.

Choreography

Creative competition — practical exam

  • — Classical and contemporary dance, études, and improvisation per faculty programme.
  • — Stage presence, musicality, and adherence to published creative tasks.
  • — Additional dress code, backing track, or accompaniment rules appear in the admissions programme.

Dates: July–August 2026; the current schedule is published with Admissions committee notices for each campaign.

Preparation tips

Obtain Annex 6 and your major's entrance programme early from Admissions or faculty secretaries (see Contacts). Track EDEBO cut‑offs and competition days for printing paperwork and rehearsals.
