The policy, mission, vision, and values of the university, approved by the Development Strategy of H. S. Skovoroda KhNPU for 2026–2030.
Mission
To provide high-quality teacher education and prepare competent professionals for building the educational landscape of Slobozhanshchyna on the basis of the Skovoroda tradition.
The university's policy is oriented towards shaping a modern European-type pedagogical university that combines academic traditions, innovation, and social responsibility.
Vision
The university is a recognised leader in Ukraine in preparing highly qualified specialists, shaping the national system of teacher education.
Today the university positions itself as a leading pedagogical institution of higher education in Ukraine, combining long-standing traditions with innovative approaches to education, research, international cooperation, and public service.
Values
The values define the culture of the university community and underpin the Development Strategy for 2026–2030.
They guide the educational, research, upbringing, and management activities and the conduct of every member of the Skovoroda community.
Humanity
Respect for the dignity of every person and a culture of care for the mental health, safety, and wellbeing of the university community.

Affirming and developing Ukrainian cultural, spiritual, and pedagogical traditions in a contemporary context.
