The university motto is “Education will save Ukraine!” Its core meanings are set out in the quality policy and reflect the path of the Skovoroda community.
Mission
We prepare teachers and professionals who embody the Ukrainian national idea, think in innovative ways, conduct research, and carry out educational outreach grounded in national philosophy of education, pedagogy, psychology, culture, and the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences.
The mission is to build an educational space and strengthen civil society in Ukraine through high-quality fundamental and professional preparation at every level of higher education and by nurturing responsible agents of change.
Vision
As one of the leaders in education, research, and innovation in Slobozhanshchyna, H. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University delivers teacher education and outreach in new formats on the basis of broad European and global integration.
