Volunteering
Students and staff of KhNPU take part in volunteer initiatives for the benefit of society.
Volunteering at KhNPU is organised across 14 faculty-based volunteer corps. During the full-scale war their activities focus on supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, people affected by the war, wounded service members, internally displaced persons, and defenders' families.
Support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and affected communities
Collection of medicines, food, and tactical gear for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Assistance for civilians and displaced persons, shifts at military hospitals and shelters.
Educational and psychological support
Crisis psychological counselling for people who have experienced trauma. Online classes for students from affected regions. Tactical medicine training for volunteers.
Social and environmental initiatives
Support for children's homes and care institutions, as well as older adults. Helping animals in difficult circumstances. Regular blood donation drives.
Patriotic and cultural events
Organisation of patriotic events and exhibitions; support for traditional university ceremonies; "Cossack Glory" outreach lessons in Kharkiv and regional schools.
